Arduino is the popular open-source electronics prototyping platform based on easy-to-use hardware and software. It’s intended for artists, designers, hobbyists, and anyone interested in creating interactive objects or environments and is designed to be as flexible as possible to fit your project’s needs.
IES have introduced the IES-SHIELD-UART to interface to their popular range of UART TFT displays. The UART display kits, utilise on-board processing and memory (128 MB) to store and recall Fonts & Images, as well as execute Basic Character/Draw functions. Commands can be sent from a low power micro; to drive up to a 10.4” – 16 bit, SVGA Display, (65,000 Colour). Resistive touch control is also built into the UART command set.
